Reviews
The service and food are great. I have been seared on the hibachi side and in booths and have never been disappointed. Great for date night or just a night out with friends.
I typically don't review places, but I have to share my experience from today. Went to grab lunch on President's Day, expecting the usual lunch specials, but nope--apparently, holidays mean eliminating the specials entirely. So, instead of the usual deal, I got slapped with dinner prices all day long. I spent $70 for a lunch that usually costs $40, and to top it off, I got one less sushi roll. If that's your idea of a holiday "special," at least lube me up next time. Food was delicious, but had to bend over and grit my teeth to chew it.
Yum, yum, yum. Already loved the sushi of course. Then the seaweed salad portion size was perfect, and the clear soup well I had 3 bowls! Hot Sake was a perfect add. Staff was attentive and the restaurant was clean. Already ready to go back
My family and I ate at Koi for my son's Army AIT graduation dinner celebration. We called ahead to book a reservation to ensure we could sit together. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our Teppanyaki Chef was engaging, humorous, and entertaining as he prepared our food. It always amazes me how skillful they are with sharp knives and with great precision. The menu offered a variety of hibachi entrees like steak, chicken, shrimp, and scallops, along with a selection of sushi rolls, teriyaki, and other Japanese-inspired dishes and drinks. I started with a ginger salad, Miso soup, and warm green tea. The salad was freshly made, and the soup came out hot. The hibachi rice and vegetables were seasoned well and delicious. The restaurant had a comfortable ambiance and cool decor making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. If you're in the area and craving hibachi or sushi, it's a good choice for a visit.
I've only been there twice and everytime the food is wonderful. The waiters and chefs are super helpful with the menu options. Had my birthday dinner there and they made sure to make the experience that much more special. I can't remember my chefs name but he had me and my wife and friends laughing and having a great time the entire time. Wonderful place. Volcano roll is top notch and the shrimp and ribeye don't even get me started.
